About Us

Senor T's is a family-owned restaurant with a family-friendly atmosphere.

Ted and Carolyn Manzanares established Senor T's with authentic family recipes in 1972 where it was originally located on the east side of Main Street where the Melting Pot currently resides.

In 1978, Senor T's moved to its current location, which was once the Rex Theater. The old theater curtain, bearing advertisements for various Louisville businesses, is still displayed in Senor T's lobby.

Over the years, Ted and Carolyn's children, Marc and Sherri, have worked at the restaurant along with their significant others, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Marc is now responsible for the day-to-day operations and business planning for the future.

Though they have retired, Ted and Carolyn Manzanares still drop in for a visit every now and then and continue to provide support and business advice to their kids.
